Wine Hardware was founded in 1973. Mike joined in 2001 and bought the business with Cari in 2014. Wine joined the shop’s selection in 2021, with a focus on small, family-owned producers. Bring Mike a wine you enjoy and talk about what you might try next.

Karl's House Favorite and Karl's Little Sip are pickup only. Karl's Collection delivers within 5 miles of the showroom; the remaining levels within 15 miles. Everyone else collects at 1617 Locust Street.

What arrives, and when?
Your level's bottle count, four times a year: March, June, September and December. We email pickup or delivery details about two weeks before each release, along with the tasting notes for what is in the box.
Pickup or delivery?
Karl's House Favorite and Karl's Little Sip are pickup only at 1617 Locust Street. Karl's Collection includes local delivery within 5 miles of the showroom. Karl's Cellar Builder and the three premium levels deliver within 15 miles.
Who has to be there to collect it?
Members must be 21 or older and show valid government-issued ID at pickup or delivery. Have the ID ready when collecting your wine.
How does billing work?
For a completed membership, you authorize payment when joining and every three months afterward, managed through Stripe. This beta site does not start membership or charge a card. Contact the showroom to discuss joining and current release details.
Can I change levels, or cancel?
For a possible level change, call Mike to discuss the options and timing. To cancel, email Wine Hardware at least 14 days before your next renewal. Memberships renew every three months; selections already billed are non-refundable but may be picked up at your convenience.
What if a wine sells out before release day?
Selections are subject to availability and substitutions may occur. Have a particular bottle in mind? Call Mike to check what is available for your release before making plans around it.
Club notes and cancellation policy
By joining Karl's Cellar Club you authorize Wine Hardware to charge your selected membership amount today and every three months. Club selections are available for pickup quarterly, with local delivery available only for eligible levels and service areas.
Members must be 21 or older to purchase and to pick up or receive wine. Valid government-issued ID is required. Club selections are subject to availability and substitutions may occur.
Memberships renew every three months and may be canceled before the next billing date. To cancel, email Wine Hardware at least 14 days before your next renewal. Selections already billed are non-refundable but may be picked up at your convenience.
